Denver, PA (April 9th, 2015) – “Super” Alan Krimes returned to his normal ways at the “Fabulous” Lincoln Speedway during the recent weekend; recording a podium finish during the “Sprint Spring Championship” on Saturday, April 4th. Krimes, the defending Lincoln Speedway “410” track champion, finished third during the 30-lap, $5,000-to-win “Sprint Spring Championship” main event. The Denver, Pennsylvania native now has one top-five and two top-ten finishes at the Abbottstown facility thus far in 2015, and despite the recent “DNF,” currently sits seventh in the track championship standings. Krimes will return to competition this weekend in the heart of Pennsylvania; making his usual visits to Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway. The Friday, April 3rd event at Williams Grove Speedway was canceled due to weather.
“We’ll just be at Williams Grove and Lincoln this weekend” said Krimes, “The weather already looks “iffy” for tomorrow night at The Grove so hopefully that changes we had a good run at Lincoln last Saturday we are in a hole right now in the points championship, but we’ll keep working to get out of it there is a long season ahead yet.”
Alan Krimes will visit the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania tomorrow evening, April 10th for a regular program, followed by a visit to the Lincoln Speedway near Abbottstown on Saturday, April 11th.
