Denver, PA (May 12th, 2014) – The World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series will be invading central Pennsylvania for the first time in 2014 this Wednesday, Friday and Saturday; continuing a long and competitive racing tradition between “The Greatest Show on Dirt” and the “Pennsylvania Posse.” All of central Pennsylvania’s finest “410” sprint teams will be ready to defend home dirt against the “Outlaw” invasion, including two-time “Posse” winner already in 2014, Alan Krimes. The Denver, Pennsylvania native, who is the current Lincoln Speedway “410” sprint car point leader and two-time main event winner, hopes to lead the “Posse” charge beginning Wednesday evening, and earn that first-career “Outlaw’ victory.

The World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series invasion will ignite on Wednesday evening, May 14th at the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania; and will continue on Friday and Saturday, May 16th & 17th at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. All three nights will feature a full racing program including qualifying time trials. The annual “Morgan Cup’ event will also be a part of the weekend ‘Outlaw” invasion; taking place on Saturday evening, May 17th at Williams Grove Speedway.

Unfortunately, Alan Krimes failed to qualify for the WoO STP main event at Lincoln Speedway in 2013. The pilot of the ‘Super 87’ finished fifth (5th) during B-main competition; one spot shy of a qualifying position. Krimes had similar luck during the WoO STP program at Williams Grove Speedway last May; with his night ending during the program’s B-main. The Saturday night portion of the Williams Grove Speedway WoO STP weekend in May of 2013 was canceled due to inclement weather.

“Super” Alan Krimes, who pilots the Midnite Antiques, Conestoga Valley Garage, Wayne Corini, Krimes Racing Engines, VRP Shocks, no. 87 sprint car, will enter the upcoming weekend ranked third (3rd) in the current SPEEDWAY MOTORS/CHAMPION RACING OIL PA SPRINT CAR SERIES Presented by Hoseheads.com point standings with 197 points; on the strength of two (2) victories both at the Lincoln Speedway. Greg Hodnett is the current series point leader with 324 points and two victories.
