Denver, PA (May 21st, 2014) – After earning back-to-back top ten feature finishes with the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series at the Williams Grove Speedway back on Friday and Saturday, May 16th & 17th, “Super” Alan Krimes will return to the heartland of central Pennsylvania this weekend for another two-race adventure in ‘Pennsylvania Posse” country. Krimes, who pilots the familiar Midnite Antiques, Conestoga Valley Garage, Wayne Corini, Krimes Racing Engines, VRP Shocks, no. 87 “410” sprinter, will make upcoming weekend visits to his usual Friday and Saturday night destinations; Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania; and Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania.

Alan Krimes will jump start his upcoming weekend with a visit to the Williams Grove Speedway on Friday evening, May 23rd. The Denver, Pennsylvania native will participate in the annual Charity Race on Friday night; with the evening’s feature winner choosing a charity of his/her choice that will receive a donation from Williams Grove Speedway. Friday night’s “Diamond Series” program will utilize time trials; with the 25-lap feature winner earning $4,000. Alan Krimes will enter the Williams Grove Speedway gates currently fifth (5th) in the “410” track championship standings. Krimes will look to earn his first “Grove” feature win of 2014 this weekend.

The “Super 87” team will venture to the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania on Saturday evening, May 24th; ready to take part in the annual Hilly Rife Memorial. This “410” program will also utilize a time trial format. Alan Krimes is the current Lincoln Speedway track championship point leader; leading the way on the strength of two (2) feature wins, three (3) top-five finishes and four (4) top-ten finishes. Krimes will also enter the upcoming weekend third (3rd) in the current central Pennsylvania sprint car standings.

During recent “410” sprint car competition, Alan Krimes earned back-to-back top ten finishes with the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series at the Williams Grove Speedway. Krimes joined “The Greatest Show on Dirt” on Friday and Saturday, May 16th & 17th; attempting to defend “home dirt” against the invading “Outlaws.” Although Daryn Pittman would sweep the weekend, Krimes did his part in representing the “Pennsylvania Posse” proudly. Alan Krimes finished sixth (6th) with the “Outlaws” at “The Grove” on Friday night, May 16th; all before finishing tenth (10th) on Saturday night, May 17th.
