Denver, PA (September 3, 2015) – Alan Krimes will stay plenty active during the long, holiday weekend as the Denver, Pennsylvania native preps to take part in three consecutive events on September 4 through September 6. Krimes, a two-time main event winner in central Pennsylvania thus far in 2015, will chase feature victories at Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway during the upcoming weekend, beginning with the $6,000-to-win “Jack Gunn Memorial” on Friday, September 4, at Williams Grove Speedway.

“We are looking forward to the weekend” said Krimes, “We’ve been showing some speed this year, we just need to capitalize on it a little more often. Had some tough nights recently, but we always find a way to bounce back. We’ll work to get a win this weekend.”

On Saturday, September 5, Alan Krimes will visit the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania and enter the last point race of the 2015 season. Krimes, the 2014 Lincoln Speedway “410” track champion, will enter the final point event, the J.L. Howard Memorial, second in the updated standings. The pilot of the Wayne Corini, CPA, Krimes Racing Engines, VRP Shocks, #87 is 325 markers behind point leader Brian Montieth and 360 points ahead of Cory Haas who is third in the current championship. Just making an appearance on Saturday should be enough to solidify Krimes as the 2015 Lincoln Speedway runner-up.

“We are happy with our season at Lincoln, just a little disappointed that we didn’t defend our title” explained Krimes, “We were missing a little bit of consistency that we had last year. To enter the final week of points with nine top-five and 16 top-ten finishes is still pretty special.”
