Denver, PA (August 6, 2015) – Lincoln Speedway regular Alan Krimes will test different waters during the upcoming weekend; set to visit Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pennsylvania for the first time in 2015. Krimes, the 2014 Lincoln Speedway track champion, will enter the annual “Living Legends Dream Race” on Saturday, August 8, at Port Royal’s “Speed Palace,” eager to pilot the Ed Aikin owned “7” machine for the first time. The newly paired duo will attempt to snag a large portion of the $80,000 total purse up for grabs on Saturday night.

“Ed and I have known each other for a while” explained Krimes, “Ed raced a lot of “360” stuff and he recently purchased a 410ci engine. Ed asked me if I was interested in driving his car this weekend at Port Royal, so I told him I would. It’s an awesome opportunity. A big purse up for grabs this weekend during their dream race so we’ll try to capitalize on that. I’ve never had a ton of luck up there. Hopefully we can fix that on Saturday.”

“Super” Alan Krimes will drive his own Wayne Corini, Krimes Racing Engines, VRP Shocks, #87 this Friday night, August 7, at Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. “The Grove” will feature a regular “410” program. Krimes is a one-time feature winner at the world famous dirt oval in 2015 and is currently seventh in the point standings.
