Denver, PA (May 5th, 2015) – “The Greatest Show on Dirt” will make their first central Pennsylvania appearance of 2015 in just over a week, giving defending Lincoln Speedway track champion Alan Krimes one last weekend to prepare for the invasion. Krimes, who earned a pair of top-ten finishes during his most recent weekend of competition, hopes to help the “Pennsylvania Posse” defeat the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series, and earn a career-first World of Outlaws victory.
“I think we are ready to go” said Alan Krimes, “It’s always a big deal when those guys come to town I think most of us treat it like any other race; just a lot more money on the line if we can time well and get ourselves in a good starting spot in a heat race, I think we can contend for a win we’ve been pretty strong here and there we’ll see what happens.”
“Super” Alan Krimes will join the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, May 13th, 15th & 16th for three complete programs. The PA swing begins with the “Gettysburg Clash” at the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania on Wednesday, May 13th. From there, the series moves on to the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania for two complete shows on Friday and Saturday, May 15th & 16th.
Krimes will finalize his “Outlaw” preparations this Friday and Saturday, May 8th & 9th with visits to the Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway. The Denver, Pennsylvania native, who finished second at Williams Grove Speedway during main event action last Friday evening, May 1st, will revisit the world famous half-mile this Friday evening, May 8th for the “Outlaw Tune Up.’ On Saturday, May 9th, Alan Krimes and the “87” team will venture to the Lincoln Speedway for a regular Saturday night program where they finished seventh this past weekend. The defending track champion currently finds himself second in the 2015 track championship hunt; earning three top-five and six top-ten finishes thus far in 2015.
