Denver, PA (August 21st, 2013) – “Super” Alan Krimes will return to ‘410’ sprint car competition this Friday and Saturday, August 23rd & 24th; once again, in the heart of Central Pennsylvania. The pilot of the Krimes Racing Engines, Mike’s Powerwash, no. 87 “410” sprinter will make his usual Friday and Saturday night appearances during the upcoming weekend; the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, and the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania. Krimes is a recent winner at both Central Pennsylvania facilities, and hopes to score additional victories this weekend.

Alan Krimes and the familiar “87′ program will kick-off competition during the upcoming weekend on Friday evening, August 23rd at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. The ‘410’ sprinters will be joined by the URC ‘360’ and “358′ sprint cars for a huge open-wheel line up. The late Kramer Williamson will also be honored during the Friday night program. Williamson’s car will be on display during a silent auction which will benefit the late driver’s family. Alan Krimes’ most recent Williams Grove Speedway appearance resulted in two (2) seventh (7th) place finishes during twin 20-lap features at the Mechanicsburg half-mile.
The Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania will be Alan Krimes’ destination for Saturday evening, August 24th. Fisher Auto Parts Night will be Saturday night’s theme at the Pigeon Hills oval. The “410” sprint cars will be joined by the Central PA Legends and the All-American Outlaws. Krimes has been a weekly front-runner at the world-famous 3/8’s mile dirt oval; as he continues to chase down the 2013 Lincoln Speedway “410” track championship. The Denver, Pennsylvania native is a multi-time winner at Lincoln Speedway in 2013; which includes earning an UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions main event victory worth $5,000.

The pilot of the Krimes Racing Engines/Wayne Corini “87” team will enter the weekend sixth (6th) in the current Williams Grove Speedway ‘410’ driver standings, and third (3rd) in the current Lincoln Speedway “410” driver standings. Alan Krimes owns five (5) victories thus far in 2013 during ‘410″ sprint car competition; three (3) at the Lincoln Speedway and two (2) at the Williams Grove Speedway. The five (5) total victories, along with countless top-five and top-ten finishes, plants Krimes among the top-five drivers in the current Central PA sprint car standings.
