Denver, PA (June 1st, 2013) – Alan Krimes earned his second “410” sprint car victory of the 2013 season on Friday evening, May 31st, at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Krimes, who pilots the familiar Conestoga Valley Garage no. 87 “410′ sprint car, started on the pole of Friday night’s 25-lap, $4,000-to-win “410” main event; and held off late race charges by Rick Lafferty and Fred Rahmer to earn his third career Williams Grove Speedway sprint car win. The Denver, Pennsylvania native celebrated his win by donating  an amount of money that equaled the evening’s 50/50 winnings to the recent victims of the Oklahoma tornado tragedy. Williams Grove Speedway hosted “Charity Night” on May 31st at the racetrack; allowing the “410” feature winner to donate an amount of money equaling the evening’s 50/50 drawing to a charity of his or her choice. The healthy donation was $997. Lafferty, Rahmer, Kreitz and Hodnett rounded out the top five on Friday evening at Williams Grove Speedway.
