Denver, Pennsylvania (July 22nd, 2013) – Alan Krimes would prove to the rest of Central Pennsylvania once again that he is “the real deal.” Krimes, who pilots the Conestoga Valley Garage, Krimes Racing Engines, no. 87 “410” sprint car regularly in Central Pennsylvania, finished thirteenth (13th) on Saturday evening, July 20th against the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Although the result may not seem impressive by itself, it was the circumstance that made the finishing position rather impressive.

Krimes, who is a former Williams Grove Speedway feature winner, started the Williams Grove Speedway, “Summer Nationals,” 30-lap main event from the outside of the twelfth (12th) row, and rallied eleven (11) positions, on very tricky and slick racing surface, to earn the thirteenth (13th) place finish. The “Summer Nationals” main event would see Donny Schatz earn the $10,000 winner’s share, but it was Alan Krimes who came home with the “KSE Hard Charger Award’ with the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series. The Denver, Pennsylvania native earned his way into the 30-lap, “Summer Nationals” main event by transferring through his respective heat race; finishing fifth (5th) after starting eighth (8th) in heat race number two.

Alan Krimes, along with the rest of the Conestoga Valley Garage “87” team, will be back in action this Friday and Saturday, July 26th & 27th in the heart of Central Pennsylvania. The recent Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway winner will make his way back to both of those facilities this weekend; beginning with the Williams Grove Speedway half-mile in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania on Friday, July 26th. Action for Alan Krimes will then move to the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania on Saturday evening, July 27th. Williams Grove Speedway will be hosting the “410′ sprinters and “358” sprinters this Friday evening; with Lincoln Speedway hosting it’s 2nd Annual Brandon Little Memorial/Fallen Firefighters Night.

The pilot of the Conestoga Valley Garage “87′ team will enter the weekend eighth (8th) in the current Williams Grove Speedway “410′ driver standings; as well as fourth (4th) in the current Lincoln Speedway “410′ driver standings. Alan Krimes owns four (4) victories thus far in 2013 during ‘410” sprint car competition; three (3) at the Lincoln Speedway and one (1) at the Williams Grove Speedway. The four (4) total victories, along with countless top-five and top-ten finishes, plants Krimes among the top-ten drivers in the current Central PA sprint car standings.
