Denver, PA (April 7th, 2013) – Things are starting to come together nicely for Alan Krimes and the Conestoga Valley Garage no. 87 “410” sprint car team. Krimes ended his recent weekend in Central Pennsylvania by earning a second consecutive podium finish at the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania on Saturday evening, April 6th. The former Lincoln Speedway winner would finish second (2nd) in the 25-lap, $3,200-to-win “410” main event on Saturday, April 6th; bettering last Saturday night’s “410 Sprint Car Spring Championship” finish at Lincoln Speedway by one position. Krimes’ consistency has been relentless at the Pigeon Hills 3/8’s mile dirt oval in recent weeks; allowing the Denver, Pennsylvania native to be a real favorite in the 2013 Lincoln Speedway Track Championship hunt.
Krimes kicked off his Saturday evening at Lincoln Speedway by finishing fourth (4th) during his respective sprint car heat race. The Conestoga Valley Garage “87” would start the 25-lap, “410” main event from the outside of row number four (4). Krimes would then charge six (6) positions over the course of twenty-five (25) circuits to finish in the runner-up spot. Fred Rahmer was the main event winner. There were twenty-three (23) “410” sprint cars signed in for action at the “Fabulous’ Lincoln Speedway.
Alan Krimes will be back in action next Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, April 12th, 13th, & 14th, at three (3) different Central Pennsylvania ovals. Krimes, and the entire Conestoga Valley Garage ’87 team, will begin their upcoming three-race weekend at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania on Friday evening, April 12th. From there, the “87′ team will move south to their usual Saturday night stop for a full evening of “410′ sprint car competition at the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania. On Sunday, April 14th, Alan Krimes will close out his upcoming weekend at the Susquehanna Speedway Park in Newberrytown, Pennsylvania. The ‘410” sprint cars will make their first appearance of the 2013 season at the Susquehanna oval for the “Sprint Car Spring Classic IV” program; which will also feature a full program for the “358” sprint cars.
The Conestoga Valley Garage “87” team will be a part of all of the action each and every weekend in the heart of “Pennsylvania Posse” territory.
